Currently, no other ci-management committer is available, and so vpp verify is going to stay broken until some other ci-management committer shows up to review and merge the revert.
*This* is the problem with mechanical blocking of self merge. I completely agree that it is normally a very bad practice to merge your own patches, but situations like this, where the world is broken and cannot be fixed because of those mechanics happen.
