Again the repo got updated and is non compliant

Wait a minute i think that did it....flushing the honeycomb datastore...by removing the honeycomb folder..flushed the configs and the vbd-app once again populated. I think ill go ahead and close that bug. That worked thanksa lot Marek On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 7:08 PM, Kawshik Sarkar <kawshikrandom@...> wrote:

Thanks Marek that worked ...but the vbd-odl app still does not populate its interfaces...despite showing connected. I filed a bug in Jira https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/HONEYVBD-23?focusedCommentId=61122&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 7:07 PM, Kawshik Sarkar <kawshikrandom@...> wrote:

Hi,
by default Honeycomb persists configuration and restores it on startup.
You can disable this behavior in the: /opt/honeycomb/config/honeycomb.json if you want.
If you want to delete persisted configuration, just rm -rf /var/lib/honeycomb/ before starting honeycomb.

Thanks a lot for your input. I tried Dave's approach first. Despite the fact that I did install the right version this time . The honeycomb install alert was still the same. (which i dont understand why ) to be honest. I updated the artifact as marek suggested and that seemed to work. At this point I really have no logical explanation to anything anymore. Furthermore, the whole reason why i removed vpp in the first place was because my ODL vbd was not updating its interfaces since i did a postman config.Infact not showing any interfaces at all since a postman
config was done.Furthermore if you check my attachment you will find despite a vpp and honeycomb reinstall the postman interface configuration still remains inside vpp.How do i flush it out?

Hi,
another possibility (until HC 18.01.1 is released) is to use honeycomb artifacts from:
https://nexus.fd.io/content/repositories/fd.io.stable.1801.ubuntu.xenial.main/
They are compatible with most current vpp stable/1801 version (which is 18.01.1 at the moment).
We will discuss HC 18.01.1 schedule on the next HC meeting (Monday 19.2).
Regards, Marek

Assuming that you have followed the install VPP from binary recipe [1], then you can install vpp 18.01-release artifacts as follows: On 02/14/2018 06:35 PM, Kawshik Sarkar wrote:
