The Vxlan-GPE interface implementation within Honeycomb
Ni, Hongjun
Hi all,
Is there anyone who are implementing the Vxlan-GPE interface within Honeycomb?
If not, I will take it.

FWIW that’s on my everything-over-ipv6 target list. I need to do some perf testing on the regular vxlan work I did first to settle on the optimal pattern in the encap path. I’m hoping with the new jvpp interface that sort of API change won’t be too dramatic for HC, but it will likely involve some changes (broadly, the accepted approach seems to be moving from a u32 for an address to a u8[16] for storage and an is_ipv6 flag – unless that changed)
Chris.

You may want to check their jira page, but this is excellent. The Honeycomb meeting is 45min after the SFC meeting on Monday. I'm going to be messing about (hopefully) with just VXLAN and HC today (neutron + odlgbp + hc + vpp). For now I'll be sticking to poking HC with a blunt stick (postman) until the GBP (and eventually SFC vpp netconf) render comes online. There maybe some interest in seeing GPE in VBD as well if it's not already there. On Thu, May 19, 2016, 6:29 AM Luke, Chris <Chris_Luke@...> wrote:
