additional ci-management committers

C.J. Collier

Hello folks,

I would like to nominate my fellow deb-dpdk packagers, cpaelzer && bluca as ci-management committers.  Many skilled hands make light work.

Cheers,

C.J.

C.J.  I don't see any history of meritocratic contribution by those folks to the ci-management project:

They are great guys, but perhaps we should wait for the demonstrated history of contribution to the ci-management project.

Hey there Ed,

That sounds reasonable to me.  I'll put this suggestion in "waiting" state until after the first release is completed in 20 wall days, during which I'll have them perform reviews of the work on our ci-management/jjb/deb-dpdk code.  Sound reasonable?

Cheers,

C.J.

Understood.  Please forgive my unclear wording.  I, of course, meant that we would begin reviewing my peers' work as they contribute.  I'll begin encouraging now.  Since they're in the rest of the team's time zone, the first commits should be ready for review by tomorrow's work day.

C.J.  typically, one counts contributions, not reviews for committerness.  As reviews (while sometimes profoundly valuable) can also be cheap.  Merged commits from a contributor indicate actual contribution of value.
